Already a 2013 Winner of the Drapers Young Fashion Footwear Brand of the Year, Focus International are pleased to announce the signing of a long term global license for Mocks to add to their increasing portfolio of apparel and footwear brands. Joining the business on a consultancy arrangement will be Jonathan Hirst, Cat Bardell and Jade Hannam who have all been instrumental in the development of the brand to date and will be located at the Huddersfield design and sourcing operational headquarters of Focus.

As the name suggests, Mocks are a distant relative of the moccasin, the footwear that has provided centuries of unparalleled comfort down countless generations – from native American tribes to the 50s continental coffee bar set. Now, its latest incarnation brings it bang up to date in an explosion of pure colour, style and comfort for the 21st century. Mocks are set to be the casual footwear of choice for a whole new generation, male and female, young and old – the summer item you’ll want to wear all year round. They’re bright, light and even washable: treat them how you like, then put them in the dishwasher to bring them back to sparkling life.

With increasing presence in the UK market through respected retail outlets such as Selfridges, Office and Schuh Foot Asylum, Soletrader and ASOS, the generic appeal of the Mocks brand has also created demand from international markets which Focus plan to develop an international expansion strategy that hopefully will continue to see the phenomenal growth of the brand in the UK. Focus will be responsible for the launch of the S/S14 collection with immediate effect from their London, Manchester and Huddersfield showrooms.
