Unsung Hero Design a T-Shirt Competition

Over the last 3 months Unsung Hero has been running a competition in conjunction with Leeds university to uncover talented up and coming designers.

The competition gave students the opportunity to design a T-Shirt for the brand, which would then be produced and sold as part of the following seasons collection. Providing them a platform in which to both earn more about the industry as well as gain exposure through the brands various social media channels.

There response to the project was fantastic and those involved jumped on the opportunity to see their own product go from idea, to design, to production and sales.

After much deliberation from the numerous impressive designs entered last week we selected our winner.

Jamie House’s ideas had impressed us and caught our eye form very early on in the competition.  His winning design ‘Beware of the Future’ was creative, unusual and more importantly demonstrated Jamie’s appreciation of the need to not only know your brand but also understand your consumer – such an vital element of the design process.

On behalf of everyone at Focus International Ltd we’d like to again wish many congratulations to Jamie and look forward to seeing his deign in the flesh and on sale in the coming weeks.
